Will I need planning permission for my garage conversion?

It is likely you will need planning permission for your garage conversion. We will manage the whole process on your behalf, the cost is included in the quotation.

Can you do conversions on garages that are detached or semi-detached?

We can convert detached or semi-detached garages depending on your specific requirements.

Can you do partial conversions on garages?

We are able to partially convert garages, this will depend on your individual specification.

Do you offer flooring for garage conversions?

Yes. We offer a range of flooring for garage conversions. A full display is available on request.
Will you take care of the electrics, heating and plumbing in my garage conversion?

We install all of the electrics and heating improvements in your garage conversion. All of our services are registered CORGI (Plumbing) NIC EIC (Electrical).

Can you decorate my garage conversion too?

We can decorate your garage and further more design specific layouts upon request.

Can you create loft space in my garage conversion?

By strengthening beams and adding boards to the loft space we will be able to add valuable storage space to your garage conversion.
What happens to the existing garage door?

We will remove and dispose of the existing garage door, and then we will replace this with complementary brickwork to the existing building and incorporate windows, or doors from our extensive range.
Can you match existing brickwork?

We work very hard to match the existing brickwork and/or render.
How long are your garage conversions guaranteed for?

Our garage conversions are guaranteed for 5 years. However being members of the FMB we are also covered by a 10 year warranty. More details are available upon request.
How long will it take for you to convert my garage?

Depending on the size and specification, garage conversions take between 2 and 4 weeks.
Will you make sure my garage conversion is fully insulated and damp-proof?

Yes we will make sure that the garage conversion is insulated to the current building standards necessary and we will add a damp proof course if necessary.
Can you move my meter box/boiler when you are converting my garage?

The most popular option is to box in any utilities. However we can move them upon request. Please note the costs involved are quite high as this work has to be carried out by your service provider not our team.
How long will the visit from the sales adviser take?

We usually advise you to allow at least an hour, but this will depend on your individual requirements.
What will happen during the visit from the sales adviser?

We will listen carefully to your individual requirements and talk you through our design and manufacture process. We can demonstrate our high quality products, take some careful measurements and give you a free no obligation quote - tailored to your specific requirements.
How do you ensure the workmanship of your team?

Every member of our team is time served in their relevant trade. Most of our team members have 20 years experience and have been with us for many of those years. Every team is carefully project managed and have full access to all the tools and materials to get the job done.
What happens after we have accepted the quote for our garage conversion?

Once your order has been received, we will carefully plan your conversion to your exact specification. We will arrange an installation date with you and then a dedicated team will install your conversion quickly and efficiently, and with the least possible inconvenience to you.
